ZySec-7B (repo ZySec-AI/SecurityLLM) is an open security assistant built on a Mistral-7B base, oriented toward defensive cybersecurity work: cyber threat intelligence, general security question-answering, and cloud security. On this platform it would be served from a community GGUF quantization (mradermacher/ZySec-7B-GGUF, Q4_K_M, ~4.4 GB) so it fits a single consumer GPU. It is listed here with a curated card; it is not yet provisioned on our serving.

Training data

Fine-tuned over a Mistral-7B base for security assistance, per the ZySec-AI card. The card is the source for the security-assistant framing; it does not publish a full dataset manifest, so specific corpora and proportions are treated as unconfirmed here.

Intended use
  • +Cyber threat-intelligence question-answering
  • +General defensive security questions
  • +Cloud-security guidance and explanation
Limitations
  • −Served (when provisioned) as a Q4_K_M GGUF quant, which trades some quality for a small footprint.
  • −Built on a 7B base: expect weaker performance on long, multi-step, or highly specialized tasks than larger models.
  • −Outputs can be incorrect and must be verified before use in any real security decision.
  • −Not currently served here — listed with a card, not provisioned.
Running the weights yourself

The maker’s own snippet, from the model card — it downloads the weights and runs them on your hardware. Kept here because reproducing a result independently is the point, not because you need it to use the model.

System prompt:
You are ZySec, a defensive-security assistant. Give practical, standards-aligned
guidance across cloud security, the kill chain, and threat intel; name the control
or framework when it applies.

Example:
Map these firewall logs to the likely MITRE ATT&CK techniques and tell me which to
alert on first.
Scores

No measurements published for this version yet.

Baseline is the strongest general-purpose model we could run on the same suite, same setup, same day. The control row tells you what the other rows are worth.
